Katie and Raquel talk with Raquel's sister-in-law, Melissa Friedman, who with her husband runs a nonprofit theater company, Epic Theatre Ensemble (EpicTheatreEnsemble.org) in New York City, where they also happen to be raising their eight-year-old daughter, Imogen. We talk master plans, doing improv with a three-year-old, raising a feminist daughter in a sea of pink, handling the teen years (and whether it's possible), and watching her child develop from an offshoot of herself and her husband into her own person.
